Frequently Asked Questions

For a question to be included on this list, it must have been asked numerous times to the point that I got tired of answering it. No questions meet this criteria (yet) so here's some that I made up that probably would have been asked in the future:

Who owns this serber?

I do. I used to host a serber for Nyxie, but shit happened and I didn't want to host hers anymore, so I started my own. Nyxie had no problem with me using the same world files for the new one and I offered to transfer all the files to her but she said no. Since then, the serber has been reset. Nyxie is still an admin and also has file permissions (which is everything she had previously). Since the serber files had stayed the same at the time, "the serber" refers to both this one and the previous one, but not to Nyxie's new server when she does decide to create one (i'm still waiting on that smh).

Your name isn't Ashley! What does AshleySerber mean?

"AshleySerber" is just the name I informally used to refer to the old serber, and I believe that was briefly the official name. Since most of our players are from the old one I just transferred the name over (which she also had no problem with). The domain, as.akiragirl.dev, has not changed once since the serber moved off of Minehut.

How much does it cost to run?

About 15 USD a month I believe? But it might be 22. The sale terms were confusing (it was on sale is what I mean) but it is nowhere near the 50/mo that I was using before (because I went completely overkill on the specs at the time as I honestly had no idea what I was doing). You can support the serber, and anything else I may do by extension (as it's the same bank balance, I don't separate it), here. I do not have a job because I am still in high school and I am not in a good enough mental state to work any more than I already am.

How can you afford to run this?

I can't. I don't have a job because I'm still in high school. You can donate here.

I got punished, but I'm a donator. Can I please have a refund?

No.

Why do you keep mispelling "server"?

I'm not. When referring to the serber, "serber" is intentionally spelt that way.
