He loves me, he loves me not
He loves me, he loves me not, is a joke made by Beetrolled. It was most popular back in season 6.
History
The phrase "He loves me, he loves me not" is a reference to the song by Baby Bugs. It was brought to the serber by Mintnight, who loved the song a lot. It is unknown why this specific song became a meme in the AshleySerber, however, it is assumed that some time between season 5 and season 6, Beetrolled for some reason said it, and ShatteredWish14 got annoyed by it. In season 6, ShatteredWish14 was the main target of the joke, due to her distaste for the song. The joke slowly became less common after season 6, though Beet and Shattered occasionally say it from time to time for fun.
Beet and Shattered's game
Beetrolled and Shattered's usage of the phrase became a minigame in season 6, where they were on the same team. The game was to find a way to uniquely get the other person to see the phrase "he loves me, he loves me not". The rules were that you had to set the thing up only when the other person is online. Both Beetrolled and ShatteredWish14 got very creative with it, not just writing it on signs. They used pieces of paper hidden in pots, block text screenshots, audio files, and other assorted ways. The number of times they each got each other was at a warp in the nether used for mining ancient debris.
Trivia
- The last usage of this joke was in early season 7, where ShatteredWish14 made block text near team Ethereal's base. Coincidentally, Mintnight also came back in this season.
- Shario found the above screenshot, and was very confused.
