Divans / Average Wars

The Divans / Average Wars was a multi-season event starting in late season 4, and ending in the middle of season 5. It was significant as multiple members got banned, bases were griefed, along with many members of the serber were involved.

Some interesting facts about the sides include:

• Nyxie and Auctoria are on different sides, most likely due to the straining relationship between them at the time.
• PenguinOliver | CraftEevee350 and Vietball are on the same side, despite not liking each other, due to common ground of the threat of Divans and Average.

Beginning of the War

At some point in the second half of season 4, two things happened. First, with the opposition of some members to crazy enchantments, and the growth of the Livers' ability to produce crazy enchantment books, Auctoria raised the price of the books almost triple the price, causing the Livers' production of the crazy enchantment books to drop for a good amount of time. Second, Divans, his friend AverageGarbage25, and later allsabc123 joined the serber. Like most conflicts, it started very slowly in the beginning.

Skribble

DivansWaifu, or his name Toaster on discord, joined a game of skribble.io in the AshleySerber discord. He played for a while, along with confirmed members Vietball and Beetrolled.

Fortifying Influence

One of the most cunning actions that Divans and AverageGarbage25 did, was fortify their influences. They immediately got donator ranks, with Divans paying for AverageGarbage25's, most likely as an attempt to gain good reputation on the serber, even though they just started playing. The most helpful of these actions, however, was their ability to influence and butter up Auctoria. Divans particularly, was always wanting to help Auctoria, probably to gain the trust of the admin and perhaps later benefit.

The Arms Race

With most teams not able to produce crazy enchantment books, due to Auctoria increasing the price of the books, Divans, AverageGarbage25, and allsabc123 had a brief period to catch up and strengthen themselves to the other teams levels. They used this time to revolutionize a new strategy of moneymaking on the serber, which if done right, would make the buying of crazy enchantment powders an insignificant point.

Strategy

They abused a crazy enchantment called "headless" along with looting 3, allowed them to get wither skeleton skulls at a very quick rate. They then spawned the wither in an inescapable and reusable area, where they killed the wither quickly and safely. They then sold the nether star for extreme value. This rapid spawning of withers was obvious to the rest of the serber, who were confused what was happening and why withers were being spawned commonly.

Livers' catch on

The first team to catch on to the strategy was the Livers. Mintnight and Beetrolled were the first to correctly understand that they had a system that allows them to gain wither skeleton skulls at high rates, which in turn caused high spawning rates of withers. This was further backed by /baltop, which showed DivansWaifu with large amounts of money, despite being reletively new on the serber. They also acted strangely when someone other than them spawned a wither in, usually Mintnight. However, eventually Auctoria would add the wither skeleton spawners in the starshop, costing a nether star to buy, but it would revolutionize the strategy, with exponentially higher putouts of value, the more spawners you used and bought.

Eventually, the Livers were able to pull ahead of Divans and AverageGarbage25, with the Livers' industrial area, with two wither skeleton spawning rooms, along with multiple wither killing chambers to produce nearly double digit nether stars in a cycle. It was Divans' idea, but the Livers took it and made it nearly flawless.

Cold War

Despite both sides gaining extreme power and wealth, particularly Divans' SkibUnited and PenguinOliver's Livers, there was no actual conflict that happened. Both sides never truly fought against each other in season 4, though Divans and AverageGarbage25 did grief a few bases and structures.

Griefing Incidents

One of the many actions that Divans, Average, and allsabc123 did was grief multiple structures.

CraftEevee350's Base

CraftEevee350's base was griefed, with chests spammed inside the building and a large flood. This is one of the most crucial events that happened in the wars, as it had consequences later on that would shock the serber.

Sylveon Maid Cafe

Sylveon Maid Cafe was griefed, as it was a relatively close build to spawn, only about a few thousand blocks away, and very obvious. After the build was griefed, a pond and trees were made on the same grounds, as if nothing happened there.

FluffySweet's Base

FluffySweets' second base was griefed by them as well. There was multiple parts to the base, including a barn and a house, with both of them irreparably griefed. This base was also close to the Sylveon Maid Cafe. FluffySweets later moved far away from anywhere this time, after getting her base griefed twice this season.

JeeperCreeper's Base

JeeperCreeper's base griefing incident is interesting, as they despite them griefing the base, they also made it back, presumably because they felt bad. One of the few conflicts that happened directly happened here, as PenguinOliver and Nova had a small battle with Divans and AverageGarbage25 in JeeperCreeper's base.
