These guidelines are a work in progress.

These are the guidelines that you need to follow when contributing to this wiki. Failure to follow them may result in you being blocked (or IP-blocked) from editing, and in extreme cases of abuse, your IP address may also be added to our firewall's blacklist.

For stylization, see the style guide.

1. Common sense

Just because these rules don't explicitly prohibit something doesn't mean it's allowed. I reserve the right to block you if I find your edits destructive, if you're rude, or if I just find you annoying enough.

2. Don't vandalize the wiki

This is pretty self-explanatory.

3. Articles should be written in American English

Commonwealth English will be tolerated to an extent, but it will likely be translated into American English at some point.

4. When quoting something someone said, don't censor profanity unless they censored it themselves

5. Don't fake medical conditions or encourage people to do so

If someone is faking something and you know they are, please don't write that they're actually that thing, only that they claim to be.

This includes saying a "self-diagnosed autistic" person is autistic or, more common on this wiki (yes, I'm looking at you), writing that someone who is not trans and has never felt gender dysphoria is trans.

6. Follow the style guide.
