This was changed on the 13th so that donators would need to donate at least $5 to get the rank, but there was no longer a separate minimum donation for the custom color. Anyone who donated before that date, even if it's from when someone else could buy it for them or when there was no minimum donation at all, can keep the rank and may request a new color at any time, even if their donation was less than whatever the minimum was for custom colors at the time.
