A rank is usually a tag that grants permissions (regardless of whether the tag is equipped or not), however some ranks, like internal ranks, don't have tags on their own, or their "tags" might not qualify as tags by some standards (such as Akira's rank, which simply changes the color of her username to a light baby pink). A tag gives a player either a prefix (which usually also colors the username) or a suffix. Some tags do not belong to any rank. A tag can be applied with "/tags enable (tag)", and disabled with "/tags disable (tag)". If the tag belongs to a rank, the name of the tag is the internal name of the rank. The tags command has working autocomplete. Ranks have white chat, unless otherwise specified. The images on this page are taken with the Classic Faithful texture pack equipped, and will look slightly differently in-game for players who don't use it (especially the war tag). A player can have multiple suffixes displayed, but only one prefix will be displayed. A prefix tag usually colors the username with that color as well.

List of ranks

Default

The default rank is the rank that every player has. Its tag cannot be removed, however it is always overridden by other tags. The tag makes the player's username and chat gray. Internally it is "default".

Elevated

The elevated rank is inherited by numerous ranks, like the Mod rank and the Donator rank. It grants special permissions to players. It is rarely given directly to players, however it has been before. It does not have a tag on its own. It does not give white chat. It's known as "elevated" internally.

Admin (suffix)

The admin rank is given to serber administrators. The tag is the suffix "[ADMIN]" in light red text. Administrators are granted OP on the serber. The rank is known as "admin" internally, and it also grants access to the mod tag because it inherits that rank.

Mod (suffix)

The mod rank is given to serber moderators. Its tag is the suffix "[MOD]" in light blue text. Internally it is called "mod".

Donator (prefix)

A gold donator tag.

The donator rank is given to players who donate to Akira's buymeacoffee, however it is known legally as "purchasing an entitlement" in order to comply with Mojang's usage guidelines. It is known internally as "donator", however the tag cannot be unequipped due to technical reasons. The donator rank does not have a tag on its own; the tag must also be manually given to the player.

VIP (suffix)

The VIP rank is similar to the donator rank, except it has the light green suffix "[VIP]" and grants even more permissions like /trash and /anvil. It cannot be purchased; it is given temporarily as a gift or reward. The rank inherits the elevated rank, and as such, has elevated permissions. Internally it is known as "vip".

Former Staff (prefix)

The former staff rank is a rank given to most former staff. It has elevated permissions. It is known internally as "exstaff". Its tag is a prefix saying "[FORMER STAFF]".

Akira's rank (prefix)

Akira's rank is a unique rank that gives quality-of-life permissions, like the ability to reop herself after she has deoped herself for testing purposes. It is known internally as "akira" and should never be granted to other players. Its tag is a prefix that changes the color of her name to a light baby pink.

List of tags (that don't belong to any rank)

White (both)

The white tag is a tag that makes the player's username and chat white. It is known as "white" internally, however it cannot be toggled as such; you cannot use a rank with white chat without using the white chat.

War (suffix)

The war tag is a suffix that allows players to fight and grief other players with the war tag and is known as "war" internally.

Slave (suffix)

The slave tag is randomly granted and is known as "slave" internally.

Prisoner (suffix)

The prisoner tag is usually granted during events and cannot be removed by the player. It is removed by the end of the event.

Event Host (prefix)

The event host tag has been granted to players who help host official/semi-official end-of-season events. It is a temporary tag. It is known internally as "eventhost".

Ghost (suffix)

The ghost tag was granted to those who are going to host the Halloween event, and it will be granted to those who win any of the minigames. It is a semi-temporary tag, which means that, while it is temporary, it will last significantly longer than other temporary taqgs.

List of unused ranks

Builder

The builder rank was a rank given to builders. Internally it still exists, however no one has it and is currently considered useless. Its tag is a prefix. It gives access to creative mode and elevated permissions.

Dev

The dev rank was supposed to be a rank given to developers. Internally it does exist, however no one has ever had it and it is currently useless. Its tag is a prefix, and it inherits the admin rank thus also giving access to the admin and mod tags. It is known as "dev" internally.
