Language

Articles should be written in American English. Commonwealth English (such as British English or Australian English) will be tolerated, but it will likely be translated.

Do not censor profanity in quotes unless it was already censored.

Ideally, when referring to a specific person, either masculine or feminine pronouns should be used, but "they" is also fine if the person's gender is unknown or if they want to be referred to that way.

Sections

Sections should be formatted as headings. In the visual editor, you can press Ctrl+2 to make a heading. In the source editor, a section title should be formatted == Like this ==

A section should NEVER be positioned directly at the start of an article. An article should have some text before its sections.

When to use titlecase

Wikis typically don't use titlecase unless it's referring to a proper noun. For instance, in an article title or section title, something like "A Guide to Using the Product (referring to an instruction manual by its title) would be in titlecase because it's a proper noun, while "Instruction manual" (referring to instruction manuals in general) or "(Product) instruction manual" wouldn't be. This wiki is not an exception.
